Ready Steady Who recreate the Who’s early modernist beginnings, when the boys from the Bush freaked out hip, young and sharply-attired pill-popping mods by playing their revered and beloved rhythm and blues at now legendary venues like The Station Hotel in Harrow and Wealdstone, The White Hart in Acton, The Goldhawk Social club in Shepherd’s Bush and the West End’s Marquee and Scene Clubs.

Aiming to match the frenzied excitement of those early shows, Ready Steady Who blaze through tracks from the Who’s first clutch of RnB-infused singles, EPs and LPs as well as the soul and blues covers from The Who’s live set from ’64 to ’67 – their mod heyday. And they play them with arguably as much verve and swagger as Townsend, Daltry, Entwistle and Moon themselves!

Not only will you get classics hits like My Generation, Substitute and Pictures Of Lily, but also the very best of the rest – killer tracks like A Legal Matter, Out In The Street, Run Run Run, Daddy Rolling Stone, Leaving Here, Good Loving and more.

Don’t come expecting to hear Pinball Wizard, Won’t Get Fooled Again and others from the Who’s rock canon – you won’t. Do come expecting the best early years Who tribute around, so put on your best mod clobber and be ready to block ‘til you drop to maximum mod RnB – you’ll be blown away. Oh yes.
